Abstract:
A power storage device (10) has a plurality of bipolar electrodes (12), each having a positive electrode layer (18) provided to one surface of a collector plate (16) and a negative electrode layer (20) provided to another surface on the opposite side to the one surface, stacked together with a separator (14) therebetween, wherein each of the plurality of bipolar electrodes is provided with a collector plate having a first surface (16a) and a second surface (16b) that is the surface on the opposite side to the first surface and has greater surface roughness than the first surface, a binder (80A) and a positive electrode active material (60) that forms a positive electrode layer, and a binder (80B) and a negative electrode active material (70) that forms a negative electrode layer and has a larger average particle size than the positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material and the binder (80A) are applied to the first surface, and the negative electrode active material and the binder (80B) are applied to the second surface.
