Abstract:
The power storage element is provided with an electrode body (400) having a negative electrode plate (420) wound on a tubular core material (500) and a separator (430). The core material (500) has a first linear section (501) and a second linear section (502) respectively extending along a first virtual line (VL1) and a second virtual line (VL2) parallel to a long-side surface (111a) of a container (100). The first linear section (501) and/or the second linear section (502) has a curved part (510) projecting toward the other section across the first virtual line (VL1) or across the second virtual line (VL2). An inner circumferential edge (420a) of the negative electrode plate (420) is placed at a position other than the curved part (510) of the first linear section (501) and/or that of the second linear section (502).
