Abstract:
In a power storage system (1), a control unit (50m) calculates the overall State of Power (SOP) of a plurality of power storage blocks (10-30) on the basis of the SOP of each individual power storage block in the plurality of power storage blocks (10-30) connected in parallel, and sets the calculated overall SOP to the upper limit value for power or current for charging and/or discharging of a power conversion unit (60). When at least one of a plurality of switches (S1-S3) is turned off and at least one (30) of the plurality of power storage blocks (10-30) is separated, the control unit (50m) calculates the overall SOP of the remaining power storage blocks (10, 20) on the basis of current variations of each of the remaining power storage blocks (10, 20), and sets the upper limit value for the power or current flowing to the power conversion unit (60).
