A power storage system (1), wherein three-phase AC wiring (20) is connected to a three-phase AC power system (2). A plurality of power storage blocks (10) each include a power storage module (11) and a power conditioner (12) and are connected in parallel to the three-phase AC wiring (20). A system control unit (30) is capable of separately controlling the plurality of power storage blocks (10). Each power storage module (11) includes a power storage unit (111) and a management unit (112) that manages the power storage unit (111). Each power conditioner (12) includes a power conversion unit and a control unit (123). The power conversion unit converts DC power discharged from the power storage unit (111) into single-phase AC power, outputs the AC power to two lines of the three-phase AC wiring (20), converts the single-phase AC power inputted from the two lines of the three-phase AC wiring (20) to DC power, and charges the power storage unit (111). The control unit (123) is connected by a communication line (40) to the system control unit (30) and is connected by a communication line (15) to the management unit (112), the control unit (123) controlling the power conversion unit.
