Abstract:
The present invention includes: a switching unit which is disposed between a first power storage unit in a first power storage device configured to be able to be connected in parallel with a second power storage device and a wiring that electrically connects the first power storage device and the second power storage device, and which switches the electric connection relationship between the wiring and the first power storage unit. The present invention includes a limiting unit which is connected in parallel with the switching unit between the wiring and the first power storage unit, has larger resistance than the switching unit, passes a current in a direction from the wiring towards the first power storage unit, and restrains the passage of a current in a direction from the first power storage unit towards the wiring. Even when an over-charged state is maintained, a cell system of the first power storage device is represented by a reaction equation that does not cause an irreversible change in the cell system in principle. When an over-charged state is maintained, a cell system of the second power storage device is represented by a reaction equation that causes an irreversible change in the cell system in principle.
