Abstract:
A power supply apparatus comprises a primary circuit (11) connected between an
input terminal (1) and a primary winding (N1) of a transformer (5), a secondary circuit
(12) connected between a secondary winding (N2) of the transformer (5) and an
output terminal (2), an auxiliary winding (N3) provided in the transformer (5),
first voltage detecting circuits (91, 63) for detecting a first voltage having
a first polarity generated in the auxiliary winding (N3) due to a first current
in the primary circuit (11), second voltage detecting circuits (92, 64) for detecting
a second voltage having a second polarity generated in the auxiliary winding
(N3) due to a second current in the primary circuit (11), and a comparator circuit
(10) for comparing the absolute values of the first and second voltages.
