Abstract:
A power supply circuit for prolonging the lifetime of a PMC chip, and an Expander backplane, the power supply circuit comprising a primary power supply source, a power-on sequence control circuit, and a first voltage conversion circuit for converting the primary power supply source into a secondary power supply source, wherein an output end of the primary power supply source is respectively connected to a power supply end of the power-on sequence control circuit and an input end of the first voltage conversion circuit, an output end of the first voltage conversion circuit is respectively connected to a detection end of the power-on sequence control circuit and a power supply end of an auxiliary circuit in a PMC chip, and an output end of the power-on sequence control circuit is connected to a power supply end of a primary circuit in the PMC chip; and the power-on sequence control circuit is used for controlling the primary power supply source to transmit power to the primary circuit when it is detected that conversion of the secondary power supply source has been completed. It can be seen that in the present application, the service life of a PMC chip is prolonged, thereby improving the reliability and stability of the PMC chip, and further improving the reliability and stability of an Expander backplane and a server as a whole.
