Disclosed is a power supply control device that is characterized by being equipped with a traffic information acquisition means that acquires traffic information for the roads surrounding a charging station, and a control means that controls the amount of power supplied to the charging station on the basis of the traffic information (in particular the traffic likely to use the charging station) acquired by the traffic information acquisition means. Also disclosed is an information provision device that is characterized by being equipped with a charging station information acquisition means that acquires information on charging stations, a traffic flow acquisition means that acquires, for each charging station for which information was acquired by the charging station information acquisition means, the traffic flow of vehicles in the area surrounding the charging station that use external electric energy, and a charging station determination means that determines, from among the charging stations, the charging station to supply information to on the basis of the traffic flows acquired by the traffic flow acquisition means.
