Abstract:
The invention pertains to a power supply control device and power supply control method with which it is possible to prevent operation of a wiring circuit breaker while preventing instantaneous interruption of a power supply. The power supply control device is provided with: a storage battery 31 that is positioned downstream from a circuit breaker positioned in a branch path branched from the current path of a commercial power supply 3, and that is positioned upstream of a load 7 connected to the branch path, and electrical power being stored in said storage battery 31; a control unit (10) for controlling the current volume discharged from the storage battery; and a detector (5) for detecting input current volume inputted to the load from the commercial power supply, said detector (5) being positioned in the branch path. The storage battery is connected downstream of a detector in the branch path, and the control unit, when the input current volume detected by the detector is greater than a first current threshold value, causes discharging from the storage battery to the branch path.
