This power supply device (4) is provided with: a DC/DC converter (13) disposed between an input and an output; a primary-side controller (30) for controlling the input current of the DC/DC converter; a signal conversion circuit (25) which is coupled to a plurality of control inputs, and which switches between control input signals of the plurality of control inputs; and a secondary-side controller (16) which is coupled to the signal conversion circuit, receives the control input signal to which the signal conversion circuit has switched, and feeds back said control input signal to the primary-side controller. The primary-side controller enables the output voltage value and the possible output current capacity (MAX value) of the DC/DC converter to be changed on the basis of the control input signal fed back from the secondary-side controller. Accordingly, provided are: a power supply device which is capable of switching to a plurality of devices, and which is capable of controlling the output voltage value and the possible output current capacity (MAX value); and an AC adapter, an electronic device, and a power supply system which are provided with said power supply device.
