Abstract:

The present invention is provided with: an input unit to which alternating current power is inputted from an alternating current power supply; a first rectifying unit that converts alternating current power into direct current power, said alternating current power having passed through the input unit; a power factor improving unit that improves the power factor of the direct current power to be outputted from the first rectifying unit; a first electricity storage unit, which stores the direct current power passed through the power factor improving unit, and which supplies thus stored direct current power to the load side; a second rectifying unit, which is connected to a part where the input unit is connected to the alternating current power supply, and which converts alternating current power into direct current power; a second electricity storage unit that stores the direct current power passed through the second rectifying unit; and a control unit, which operates using the power stored in the second electricity stored unit, and which performs a control to break the input unit when a short-circuit fault occurs in the power factor improving unit.
