Abstract:
The operation of an engine generator is adjusted in response to the operating state of a container refrigeration device in order to improve energy savings. A power supply device (10) for a container refrigeration device is provided with: an engine generator (2); a battery (1); a power sensor (5) for detecting the power value of power supplied to a container refrigeration device (30); and a controller (6) for controlling the starting/stopping of the engine generator (2) when the refrigeration load of the container refrigeration device (30) is determined, on the basis of the detection value of the power sensor (5), to have fallen to or below a specified value.
