Abstract:
A power-supply device is provided with the following: a first power supply (1a) that can store and release power; a second power supply (2) that is connected in series to the first power supply (1a) and can store and release power; and an insulated DC-to-DC converter (3a), a primary-side terminal of which is connected to the first power supply (1a) and a secondary-side terminal of which is connected to the second power supply (2). The insulated DC-to-DC converter (3a) is used to control the voltage of the second power supply (2). A DC voltage outputted from the series-connected first power supply (1a) and second power supply (2) is inputted to a first inverter (5), converted to an AC voltage by said first inverter (5), and supplied to a vehicle-driving motor (6).
