Abstract:
Provided is a power supply device comprising: a voltage conversion unit that converts input voltage to output voltage via pulse width modulation; a frequency reduction circuit that reduces the frequency of the pulse width modulation in correspondence with an overload having been detected during normal operation of the voltage conversion unit; and a frequency setting circuit that sets the frequency of the pulse width modulation used when starting the voltage conversion unit to a higher frequency than the lowest frequency corresponding to overload. Also provided are a power supply control device and a power supply control method pertaining to the power supply device.
