Abstract:
The invention relates to photographic engineering, in particular to power supply devices and digital still cameras operating without batteries or cells. The inventive power supply device for a digital still camera makes it possible to record exposures in the memory unit (1) thereof by energising said memory unit by means of voltage forming unit (3). Said voltage forming unit transforms energy produced by a hand power unit into a working voltage. The inventive digital still camera is based on said device and comprises control units and elements (8) which can be embodied in a mechanical form for switching on and off the units of the digital still camera. The operation of the digital still camera without batteries or cells makes it possible to use mechanical control units and elements and ensures the high reliability thereof in difficult climatic conditions, including low temperatures.
