Abstract:
This power supply device comprises: a power storage device; a bidirectional step-up/down converter having a charging function for starting charging of the power storage device on the basis of input power from a power system of a vehicle when the voltage of the power storage device has lowered to a first threshold value, and stopping charging of the power storage device when the voltage of the power storage device rises to a second threshold value higher than the first threshold value, and a step-up function for stepping-up the voltage of the power storage device; a control circuit that steps-up and actuates the step-up circuit such that a boost voltage higher than the voltage of the power storage device is supplied to a load device at a constant voltage; and a power supply path having one end connected to the power system and the other end connected to an output node side of the boost voltage.
