In the present invention, an electric vehicle (5) has a main battery (10) and an auxiliary battery (70) mounted therein. A recharging device (200) executes AC/DC power conversion which converts power from an external power source (400) to recharging power for the main battery (10), during external recharging. Sub-recharging relays (SCR1, SCR2) are connected between prescribed nodes (N1, N2) on a conduction path for AC/DC power conversion by the recharging device (200), and the auxiliary battery (70). The sub-recharging relays (SCR1, SCR2) are off during external recharging. In addition, the recharging device (200) is configured so as to execute DC/DC power conversion which converts power from the main battery (10) to recharging power for the auxiliary battery (70) using at least part of the conduction path for AC/DC power conversion and outputs same to the prescribed nodes (N1, N2), when the sub-recharging relays (SCR1, SCR2) are on during non-external recharging.
