Abstract:
To provide a power supply device with heightened adaptability to deformation such as expansion or contraction of a secondary battery cell, and an electric vehicle and an electrical storage device in which the power supply device is used, this power supply device (100) comprises: a plurality of secondary battery cells (1) in which the outer case assumes a square profile; a pair of end plates (20) that cover both end surfaces of a battery stack (10) in which the plurality of secondary battery cells (1) are stacked; and a plurality of fastening members (15) that are plate shaped extending along the stacking direction of the plurality of secondary battery cells (1), that are placed respectively at the side surfaces facing the battery stack (10), and that fasten the end plates (20) to each other. A space is formed between at least one of the end plates (20) and one end surface of the battery stack (10), and in the space is provided a spring member (40) biased to press in the stacking direction of the battery stack (10).
