Abstract:
In order to provide a power supply device in which a battery laminate comprising multiple layers of secondary battery cells is fastened while ensuring stretchability as well as improved strength, this power supply device is provided with multiple secondary battery cells each having a rectangular exterior can, a pair of endplates for covering both end faces of a battery laminate comprising multiple layers of the secondary battery cells, and multiple metal fastening members (15) formed in a plate-like shape extended along the lamination direction of the multiple secondary battery cells, respectively disposed on opposing side surfaces of the battery laminate, and fastening the endplates together, said multiple fastening members (15) each having fastening sections (15c) to be fixed to the respective endplates at both longitudinal ends thereof and an intermediate section (15a) connecting between the fastening sections (15c), with the fastening sections (15c) having greater strength than the intermediate section (15a) and the intermediate section (15a) having greater stretchability than the fastening sections (15c).
