Abstract:
This power supply device is configured by connecting a voltage control unit and a current control unit in parallel with each other. The voltage control unit includes: a reference voltage circuit which generates a predetermined reference voltage on the basis of an input voltage; a voltage control circuit which controls the output current of the voltage control unit such that the output voltage of the voltage control unit reaches a voltage substantially corresponding to the reference voltage to generate and output the output voltage of the voltage control unit on the basis of the input voltage; and a first current detection circuit which detects the output current of the voltage control unit to generate and output a first current detection signal indicating a value corresponding to the output current. Each current control unit includes a second current detection circuit which detects the output current of the current control unit and generates and outputs a second current detection signal indicating a value corresponding to the output current, and a current control circuit which controls the output current of the current control unit such that the second current detection signal substantially corresponds to the value indicated by the first current detection signal.
