Abstract:

The embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of power supplies. Disclosed are a power supply device and a power supply method, which solve the problem that the existing power supply architectures are low in power supply efficiency and cannot achieve high efficiency and energy saving. The specific solution is: a power supply device, comprising: a power interface, a control unit, and N first power units. The power interface is coupled to each first power unit, and each first power unit is further coupled to a power receiving system. The control unit is coupled to each first power unit, and the output power of the N first power units is greater than or equal to the maximum required power of the power receiving system. The control unit is used for acquiring the current required power of the power receiving system, and according to the current required power of the power receiving system, controlling M first power units among the N first power units by means of the control end of the control unit to supply power for the power receiving system, and controlling N-M first power units to be in an off state. The output power of the M first power unit is greater than or equal to the current required power of the power receiving system.
