Abstract:
The present invention controls power supply to a portable information terminal corresponding to the state of the portable information terminal. A power supply device 20 is provided with: a power supply circuit 210 that supplies power to a portable information terminal 10; a communication device 206 that communicates with the portable information terminal 10; and information processing devices (a processor 201, a main storage device 202, and the like). The information processing device is provided with: a power supply condition storage unit 221 that stores power supply conditions 241, i.e., conditions for supplying power to the portable information terminal 10; a terminal state information reception unit 225 that receives terminal state information 144 from the portable information terminal 10, said terminal state information being information indicating a terminal state, i.e., a state of the portable information terminal 10; a power supply availability determining unit 226 that determines whether the terminal state information 144 is meeting the power supply conditions 241; and a power supply control unit 227 that starts the power supply to the portable information terminal 10 in the cases where it is determined that the power supply conditions 241 are met.
