Abstract:
A power supply unit (U) is provided with: a switch (21) and a switch (22) disposed on electric paths (L1, L2), the former being disposed closer to a lead-acid battery (11) than to a first connection point (N1) and the latter being disposed closer to a lithium-ion battery (12); and a switch (23) and a switch (24) disposed on electric paths (L3, L4), the former being disposed closer to the lead-acid battery (11) than to a second connection point (N2) and the latter being disposed closer to the lithium-ion battery (12). In a situation where a current from a rotary electric machine (14) flows in the electric paths (L1, L2) with one of the switches (23, 24) being closed, when switching the state of the closed switch, a control unit (51) closes both switches (23, 24) temporarily and then performs the switching under the condition that a predetermined reduced state has been attained, that is, the current flowing in electric paths (L3, L4) has been reduced in the closed state.
