Abstract:
Provided is a power supply device for supplying power via a cable such as an AC adapter. The
power supply device can perform an accurate voltage supply even if there exists a
wiring resistance of a power supply line or a contact resistance of a connector. The
power supply device outputs power via a cable having a connector for power output.
The power supply device includes: a power supply circuit (11) whose output can
be varied; control means (12) for controlling output of the power supply circuit (11);
a first detection circuit (14a) for detecting a power supply output amount and
feeding it back to the control means (12); and a control connection terminal (T2)
arranged on the connector and connected to a detection input terminal of the first
detection circuit (14a). The first detection circuit (14a) detects voltage
of a predetermined connection point of an external device connected via control
connection terminal (T2). The detected signal is used to control the output of
the control means (12).
