Abstract:
A power supply device (12) is provided with a first supply path for supplying power inputted from a battery (10) to a motor, and a second supply path for supplying power stored in a capacitor (45) to the motor. The first supply path and the second supply path are each provided with a FET (40, 41). One end of a detection circuit (47) is connected to the first supply path via a FET (42), and the detection circuit (47) detects the voltage of the first supply path. A microcomputer (49) provides an instruction to each drive circuit (50, 51), and turns the FETs (40, 41) on or off. Furthermore, the microcomputer (49) turns the FETs (40, 41) on or off in a complementary manner on the basis of the detection voltage detected by the detection circuit (47).
