Abstract:
According to one aspect of this disclosure, a second DC-DC converter is connected to the output side of a first DC-DC converter connected to a power source, and a first control unit performs maximum power point tracking control of the first DC-DC converter according to the output power of the second DC-DC converter. Then, a second control unit performs control so that the output voltage of the second DC-DC converter becomes constant. With this structure, the output voltage of a power supply device can be made constant by the second control unit while still maximizing the power conversion efficiency using the first control unit.
