Abstract:
A power supply is provided which, even in a state in which the remaining charge of a secondary battery cell has decreased and operation of a BMS has stopped, can charge the secondary battery cell and resume normal charging/discharging operation. This power supply is provided with: a solar battery (10) which generates power with light and outputs electric power; a secondary battery cell (40) which stores the electric power; a battery management unit (30) which, when the stored voltage of the secondary battery cell (40) is less than or equal to a protection voltage, interrupts extraction of the electric power stored in the secondary battery cell (40) to perform a protection operation; and an automatic resumption control unit (50) which is connected between the solar battery (10) and the battery management unit (30), converts part of the electric power outputted by the solar battery (10) to a first voltage and a first current value, supplies this to the secondary battery cell (40) and resumes charging operation.
