Abstract:
The present invention is to provide a power supply for generating a laser, which includes: a power filtering part for filtering noises loaded in commercial power; a rectifying and smoothing part for rectifying and smoothing the commercial power output from the power filtering part; a boost transformer part for boosting the smoothed direct voltage output from the rectifying and smoothing part; a high voltage generator part for transforming the boosted direct voltage output from the boost transformer part into a high voltage pulse; and a multiplier circuit part for multiplying the high voltage pulse output from the high voltage generator part into a lamp discharge high voltage supplied to a flash lamp; wherein the high voltage generator part further includes a high voltage transformer mounted in a tank filled with an insulation oil, a pulse condenser connected to one end of a secondary coil, a high voltage diode connected between the other end of the secondary coil and the pulse condenser, and a high voltage resistor connected with both ends of the high voltage diode, thus providing a power supply for generating a laser suitable for a dermatologic or medical laser apparatus of lower price and less volume.
