Abstract:
A PMIC 200 supplies a power supply voltage to a microcontroller 510 and a semiconductor device 520. An interface circuit 290 can communicate with the microcontroller 510 and the semiconductor device 520. A power supply circuit 250_2 supplies a first power supply voltage VOUT2 to a power supply pin VDD2 connected to a communication circuit 514 of the microcontroller 510. An internal regulator 270 supplies a second power supply voltage VREG having a voltage level equal to a power supply voltage VOUT2 to a power supply pin VDD connected to a communication circuit 522 of the semiconductor device 520. The power supply circuit 250_2 can be turned on and off by means of communication through the interface circuit 290. The first power supply voltage VOUT2 is supplied to the interface circuit 290 when the power supply circuit 250_2 is on, and the second supply voltage VREG is supplied to the interface circuit when the power supply circuit 250_2 is off.
