Abstract:
Provided are a power supply providing device and a charging control method. The power supply providing device comprises: a transformer; a first conversion circuit located at the primary side of the transformer and used for converting the alternating current power provided by a grid into a voltage in the form of a pulse; a second conversion circuit located at the secondary side of the transformer and used for generating an output current of the power supply providing device; a feedback circuit used for generating a feedback signal of the output current; and a switch control unit used for controlling the voltage in the form of a pulse according to a grid synchronization signal and the feedback signal, so that the waveform of the output current and the waveform of the grid synchronization signal are maintained consistent, wherein the grid synchronization signal is a signal in the form of a pulse, and the frequency of the grid synchronization signal is n times or 1/n times the frequency of the alternating current power, and n is a positive integer not less than 1. Setting the output current of the power supply providing device to a current in the form of a pulse can reduce the polarization impedance of a battery, increase the charging time in a constant charging current stage, and can further improve the charging efficiency of the battery.
