A power supply system for use with an electric driving device, an electric driving device, a pure electric vehicle and a working method therefor, the power supply system comprising: a combined battery pack (20), a switch (30) and a battery management system (10), which are electrically connected to each other; the battery management system (10) may control the switch (30) such that a first battery pack (21) discharges electricity before a second battery pack (22), and the second battery pack (22) is charged before the first battery pack (21). The battery management system (10) may control the first battery pack (21) to discharge or charge within a power range for discharging and charging by using a rate current which is less than or equal to the rated power, and when the instantaneous power required by a load (60) is greater than the rated discharge power of the first battery pack (21), the difference between the two is supplemented by the second battery pack (22).
