Abstract:
Disclosed is a power supply system for an electric vehicle. The power supply system comprises: a battery system, consisting of one battery pack or a plurality of battery packs in parallel, and configured to power the electric vehicle; a range extender unit (3), configured to generate a DC current for charging the battery system and/or powering the electric vehicle; a controller (4), configured to control a power generation state of the range extender unit (3), control a connection state of each of the battery packs to a high voltage DC bus of the electric vehicle, and/or control a connection state of the range extender unit (3) to the high voltage DC bus of the electric vehicle; and a plurality of switches, configured to control connection and disconnection between each of the battery packs and the high voltage DC bus, and/or connection and disconnection between the range extender unit (3) and the high voltage DC bus. Also disclosed are a control method using the power supply system and an electric vehicle. A combined power supply with the parallel battery system and the range extender unit has the characteristics of modularization, simple integration/maintenance, and high reliability.
