Abstract:
Provided is a compact and lightweight power supply system installed in an electric vehicle. This power supply system for an electric vehicle comprises a battery system for supplying power to a drive unit of an electric vehicle, and a range extender unit for supplying power to the battery system when the charge capacity of the battery system is reduced. The motive power supply source for the range extender unit is a metal-air battery.
