Abstract:
Provided are a power supply system, electronic devices, and a power supply method such that even when supply of external power to a device having no battery with a valid voltage is cut off, abnormal termination can be reliably prevented. The power supply system is provided with: a first power supply unit (11) for preferentially outputting external power over internal power from a first battery (12) in an electronic device (10); a second power supply unit (21) for preferentially outputting external power over internal power from a second battery (22) in a connected device (20); an external power supply connection unit (external power supply connection path (L3)) for connecting an external power supply path (L1) to the first power supply unit (11) to an external power supply path (L2) to the second power supply unit (21); a selection unit (13) for selecting one of the first power supply unit (11) and the second power supply unit (21); and a control unit (15) for causing the selection unit (13) to select whichever of the first power supply unit (11) and the second power supply unit (21) is receiving internal power.
