Abstract:
According to the present invention, a heating unit heats a battery. A voltage measurement unit measures the voltage of the battery. A temperature measurement unit measures the temperature of the battery. A control unit determines that the measured temperature of the battery measured by the temperature measurement unit is at a temperature at which the heating unit is to be started up, and controls adaptively the heating amount for heating the battery by the heating unit on the basis of the measured temperature of the battery by using the voltage difference between a reference voltage and the measured voltage at the time of discharging the battery. For example, the control unit increases the heating amount as the voltage difference between a discharging lower limit voltage and the measured voltage at the time of low-temperature discharge of the battery becomes smaller.
