Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power supply system for a hybrid vehicle and an operation method therefor, and the system controls a fuel cell to operate only in sections where the fuel cell exhibits optimal efficiency. The operation method for the hybrid vehicle power supply system is an operation method for a power system for a hybrid vehicle comprising a battery and a fuel cell, and the method comprises: a calculation step for dividing a start point to a destination point marked on 3D map information into a plurality of sections and calculating the amount of power of the fuel cell for future use, which is required for the vehicle to travel each section; and a fuel cell operation control step for controlling the turning on/off of the fuel cell for each section on the basis of a power output amount of the fuel cell and the amount of power of the fuel cell for future use.
