Abstract:
A power supply system and method for a Cable network, and a related device. The system comprises a headend device, a first power converter, and a second power converter. The first power converter is connected to the headend device, which serves as a first power supply branch. The second power converter is connected to the headend device, which serves as a second power supply branch. The headend device is used for controlling the second power converter to supply power to active devices connected to the first power supply branch and the second power supply branch when it is detected that a power supply fault occurs on the first power converter; and is used for controlling the first power converter to supply power to the active device connected to the first power supply branch and controlling the second power converter to supply power to the active device connected to the second power supply branch when the power supply fault of the first power converter is recovered. The user business continuity of a whole Cable network can be ensured when a power supply fault occurs on the Cable network.
