Abstract:
A request judging section (50) compares a battery temperature (Tb1) at a power
storage section with a predetermined temperature management value (Tb1*),
and generates a temperature rise request or a cooling request if the difference
between them is at least a predetermined threshold. A current direction determining
section (54) determines in which direction a current is to be fed, to a charging
side or a discharging side, for satisfying the temperature rise request or the
cooling request based on the thermal reaction characteristics at the power storage
section. A target current level determining section (56) determines a target
current value (Ib1*) associated with charging/discharging determined at the
current direction determining section (54). A current control section (ICTRL1)
generates a switching command (PWC1) such a the battery current (Ib1) at the power
storage section matches a target current value outputted from a selecting section
(60).
