Abstract:
A power supply system for a vehicle comprises: an electric storage device (110); a battery charger (200) configured so as to charge the electric storage device (110) by use of an AC power supplied from an external power supply; an auxiliary battery (180); and a selecting circuit (280). The battery charger (200) includes: an AC/DC converter (230) for converting the AC power supplied from the external power supply to a DC power; a control circuit (220) for controlling the AC/DC converter (230); and a control power supply unit (210). The power supply system allows the selecting circuit (280) to supply, according to the output voltage from the control power supply unit (210), either one of the output voltages from the control power supply unit (210) and the auxiliary battery (180) to the control circuit (220) as a control power supply.
