Abstract:
Provided is a non-contact power supply system having superior safety and durability, wherein power is supplied to a load positioned at any location on a floor surface without using electromagnetic induction or electromagnetic waves. The power supply system provides power to a specified load through a mobile body (20) positioned in the region to be supplied power (2) from a fixed body (10) positioned in the power supply region (1). The fixed body (10) provides a first power transmission electrode (12) and a second power transmission electrode (13) located at positions near the mutual boundary surface between the power supply region (1) and the region to be supplied power (2). The mobile body (20) is located at a position near the boundary surface and provides a first power-receiving electrode (21) and a second power-receiving electrode (22) which are positioned to face but not be in contact with the first power transmission electrode (12) and the second power transmission electrode (13).
