Abstract:
In order to reduce costs while protecting circuits from overcurrent in a multiple-parallel power supply system, a power supply system (1) is equipped with a parallel circuit wherein multiple series circuits, which include one or multiple series-connected cells and a current-blocking element connected in series to the one or multiple cells, are connected in parallel. When an overcurrent from outside of the parallel circuit flows to the parallel circuit the multiple current-blocking elements provided in parallel block each respective current path in a prescribed order. These current-blocking elements may be fuses.
