Abstract:
Provided is a power supply system 10 for operating a vehicle 12 by electrical power. The vehicle 12 comprises: a battery box 14 which has a battery cell group (plurality of battery cells) 36 housed therein; auxiliary equipment 20 which can run on electrical power; a drive system 22 which can be driven by electrical power; and a branching box 16 which electrically connects the battery cell group (battery cells) 36 to the auxiliary equipment 20 and drive system 22. The branching box 16 comprises a first branching box 16A and a second branching box 16B. The first branching box 16A comprises: a fifth connector (first connection part) 66 which is electrically connected to the drive system 22 and allows an electrical power input from the drive system 22 or an electrical power output to the drive system 22; and a first branching circuit 18A which electrically connects the battery cell group (battery cells) 36 and the fifth connector (first connection part) 66. The second branching box 16B comprises: a seventh connector (second connection part) 78 which is electrically connected to the auxiliary equipment 20 and allows an electrical power input from the auxiliary equipment 20 or an electrical power output to the auxiliary equipment 20; and a second branching circuit 18B which electrically connects the battery cell group (battery cells) 36 and the seventh connector (second connection part) 78.
