Abstract:
Provided is a power supply unit for an aerosol generation device having enhanced safety. This power supply unit 100 comprises: a sheet heater HTR for heating a flavor source; a first thermistor th1 in which a resistance value changes in accordance with the temperature of the sheet heater HTR; an operational amplifier OP2 in which a non-inverting input terminal is connected to the first thermistor th1; a boosting circuit 11 including an enabling terminal EN and an output terminal VOUT connected to the sheet heater HTR, the boosting circuit 11 stopping output from the output terminal VOUT when a low-level signal is inputted to the enabling terminal EN; and an MCU 6 for controlling the supply of electric power from a power supply ba to the sheet heater HTR such that the temperature of the sheet heater HTR is caused to converge on a target temperature. The operational amplifier OP2 outputs the low-level signal when the temperature of the sheet heater HTR is equal to or greater than a threshold value THD1. The enabling terminal EN of the boosting circuit 11 is connected to the MCU 6 and to the output terminal of the operational amplifier OP2.
