Abstract:
A power supply (20) comprises a vibrating element (22) that generates a basic clock, an FPGA (211) that generates PWM waves for driving an ultrasonic transducer (101) at a constant current on the basis of the basic clock generated by the vibrating element (22), and a drive circuit (23) that digitally amplifies and outputs the PWM waves, said drive circuit being connected to the FPGA (211). The FPGA (211) outputs the PWM waves when an output signal for driving an ultrasonic treatment tool (10) has been inputted, and outputs a rectangular wave having a predetermined duty ratio when the output signal has not been inputted.
