Abstract:
In this invention, a circuit breaker 2 comprises: an shut-off unit 3; a resistor 4 connected in parallel to the shut-off unit 3; and a switch 5 connected in parallel to the shut-off unit 3 and in series to the resistor 4 and which is switched-on earlier than the shut-off unit 3. This power switch control device 1 comprises: a voltage measurement unit 11 measuring the voltage on the power source side of the circuit breaker 2; an inter-electrode voltage calculation unit 12 using the measured value of the power source side voltage, the resistance value of the resistor 4, and the impedance of the capacitor 10 to calculate the current flowing in the resistor 4 after switching-on the switch 5 and before switching-on the shut-off unit 3, and using this current and the resistance value to calculate the inter-electrode voltage of the shut-off unit 3 after switching-on the switch 5 and before switching-on the shut-off unit 3; a target pole-closing time determination unit 13 using the rate of decrease in the inter-electrode dielectric strength and the inter-electrode voltage of the shut-off unit 3 to determine a target pole-closing time for the shut-off unit 3 which applies the target switch-on phase for the shut-off unit 3 that has been set according to the capacitor 10; and a pole-closing control unit 17 outputting a control signal to the circuit breaker 2 so that pole closing occurs in the shut-off unit 3 at the target pole-closing time.
