Abstract:
This power system comprises: a solar panel; a first power conversion device which is constructed to convert DC power from the solar panel into AC power, and output the AC power to an electric power system; a storage battery; and a second power conversion device which has a first input/output end connected to the connection point between the solar panel and the first power conversion device, and a second input/output end connected to the storage battery, and is constructed to perform charge/discharge control including charge control for charging the storage battery with the DC voltage at the connection point and discharge control for discharging the power stored in the storage battery to the connection point. The first power conversion device and the second power conversion device selectively perform: a first mode in which the first power conversion device performs MPPT control on the solar panel and the second power conversion device performs the charge/discharge control; and a second mode in which the first power conversion device performs output limit control for limiting the output power so as not to exceed a predetermined output limiter value, and the second power conversion device performs MPPT control on the solar panel.
