Abstract:
This power system is provided with: a solar cell panel; a first power conversion device constructed so as to convert direct current power from the solar cell panel into alternating current power and output the alternating current power to a power system; a direct current-side switching device that is provided between the solar cell panel and the first power conversion device and opens when an accident occurs; a storage battery; and a second power conversion device that is connected to a connection point between the solar cell panel and the direct current side switching device, and is constructed so as to execute a parallel-off charge control mode in which the storage battery is charged by converting the direct current power when the direct current voltage of the connection point exceeds a predetermined threshold in response to an open of the direct current-side switching device. The second power conversion device is provided with a normal charge control mode in which the storage battery is charged on the basis of a command signal from a system upper level monitoring device. The parallel-off control mode is favorably executed when the direct current voltage of the connection point exceeds the predetermined threshold even when the normal charge mode is not instructed by a command signal.
