Abstract:
A power tool such as a crimping tool having a die (2) and a punch (3) and crimping a terminal (W) to a conductor, comprising a head body having one end detachably fitted to the casing of an impact driver (4) and the other end fixed to the die and a power transmission mechanism, the power transmission mechanism further comprising a sun gear (6) detachably connected to the shaft of a driven rotating body, an internal gear (52b) fixed to a housing to form a concentric circle to the sun gear, planetary gears (7) meshed with the sun gear and the internal gear, a carrier (8) connected to the shafts of the planetary gears, rotated on a same axis as the sun gear according to the revolution of the planetary gears and threaded in the outer peripheral surface thereof, and a push shaft (9) threadedly fitted to the carrier, held on the housings (51) and (52) so as to be reciprocatingly moved according to the rotation of the carrier, and having the punch fixed at the tip thereof. The power tool can reduce the physical and economical loads on workers.
