Abstract:
A power tool in which a gearbox that switches a speed reduction ratio is provided between a motor that is capable of forward and reverse rotation as a rotative power source, and an output unit that is rotatingly driven by the motor. The power tool has a control means that controls the gearbox to switch the speed reduction ratio according to workload, and to change the initial setting status of the speed reduction ratio for the gearbox at the beginning of work according to the rotation direction of the motor.
