Abstract:
Disclosed is a power tool, comprising a machine body (100), a cutting assembly (200) and a connecting assembly (300), wherein the cutting assembly (200) comprises a saw blade (202) for cutting a workpiece, and a bottom plate (204) for abutting against the surface of the workpiece during cutting of the workpiece; an electric motor (400) is provided inside the machine body (100); the electric motor (400) is used to drive the saw blade (202) to rotate; the machine body (100) can be linearly and movably connected to the bottom plate (204) relative to the bottom plate (204) by the connecting assembly (300); and when the power tool is to be used for cutting, the bottom plate (204) moves linearly relative to the machine body (100), and since the motion of the bottom plate (204) is a linear motion perpendicular to the bottom plate (204), an operator holds the power tool in their hand and only needs to press down on same to implement downward cutting of the piece to be cut by the saw blade, thus being comfortable to operate.
